New Free Virtual Teacher Workshop - Jan. 19

Whether you are virtual or in person, it is possible to foster curiosity and wonder in students by making use of the natural world. But how can we make that curiosity connect directly to our content and grade levels?

Park Rangers in Great Smoky Mountains National Park are partnering with educators at the Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont to present Engaging Nature Through Multiple Lenses on Tuesday, January 19 from 3:30 - 5:00. This workshop focuses on Tremont's Weekly Wonder program that is available for educators to incorporate into lessons. We will offer time in the workshop for you to brainstorm with others in breakout rooms.

The workshop is open to any teacher or educator, for any grade level in public, private, home-school education, informal education, etc. Attendance will be limited, so please register early.

Registration is available at Engaging Nature through Multiple Lenses - Great Smoky Mountains (gsmit.org). Once you register you will receive an email with the Zoom link for the workshop. This workshop will offer .15 CEU's and/or NC-EE Criteria III or Continuing Ed credits upon request.
