Sponsor the State Science Fair
Developing a science fair project teaches students critical thinking and the scientific process. If you know of a business, group, or individual who would like to support students in science by contributing to the State Science Fair of North Carolina, please contact Mrs. Judy B. Day at Judy_Day@ncsu.edu or 919-515-9402.
The State Science Fair is funded entirely from donations. The directors and judges are volunteers and all funds go to support students, their efforts in science, and teacher training in student research. Contributors can designate funds for specific areas such as awards, travel for students to the International Science and Engineering Fair, or teacher workshops. As additional funding is given, we will work to increase student awards and outreach to local and regional fairs across the state.
