Join us for the 2008 Charlotte NSTA Conference
October 30 - November 1
NCSTA encourages each of you to start planning for this great event that North Carolina has been given the opportunity to host. Put the dates on your calendar and register right now. We are going to have a ball!
You will find 3 wonderful strands waiting for your attendance, plus NASA and NOAA offerings that will suit your fancy. Choose from Biotechnology as an Economic Engine, Fearlessly Teaching Physical Science in theElementary Classroom, or Assessment for Understanding K-12. Presenters and exhibitors will be coming from all over the country. North Carolina has not seen an event of this size in over 15 years! It is not to be missed. Register Now!
Registration for the Charlotte Area Conference is available on NSTA's website and hotel reservations may be made now as well. Look for an updated form in July to purchase tickets for field trips, short courses, and the social event. Do not delay!
Submit your paperwork to your school or district as soon as possible! Advance registration will end October 1 (no exceptions!) and there will be an additional fee of $40 for registering on site. Beverly Lyons & Manley Midgett
