Celebrating Flight: From Kitty Hawk to the Universe

35th Annual NCSTA Conference
Koury Convention Center
Greensboro, NC
November 13-14, 2003

In recognition of the centennial of Flight and the ties to North Carolina this year's conference will focus on flight and where it has taken us in the last century. Many topics from air pressure, the basis of flight physics, and polymers, a component of many technologies developed by NASA, can be linked to air travel but they also have other very important factors in common. All of these topics can excite and motivate students to study science!

Presenters at this years conference are encouraged to design presentations that fit into one of the four strands:

  • Science Literacy
  • Inquiry
  • Safety
  • Technology

Are you a teacher doing exciting things in your classroom?

Have you every considered presenting a session at the NCSTA conference?

Now is the time to submit your proposal!
The deadline for proposals is June 15, 2003
