Bobbie
Hinson is a biology, advanced biology and AP biology teacher at Providence
Day School. She also serves as the sophomore class advisor, department

Marrow Registry, Bloodmobile, and Science Fair. Her goal is to "provide
opportunities and experiences students need in order to see the relevance
of biology to their lives." Her students' success is evidenced by the
list of doctors, physical therapists, nurses, researchers, and teachers
among her former students. Bobbie has shared with others through workshops
for AP teachers at UNCC and at NC State, and curriculum development
with BSCS, and NC Biotechnology. She has presented sessions at state,
regional and national meeting, and has served as NCSTA district director

to science education. And for all of this we thanks you.
